Abstract
The increasing use of renal mass biopsy may allow diagnosis of renal oncocytic neoplasms prior to treatment. However, since it is difficult to distinguish oncocytoma pathologically from chromophobe renal cell carcinoma (chRCC), the best treatment approach is frequently unclear. The purpose of this study was to compare outcomes for patients with renal oncocytic neoplasms treated with surgery, thermal ablation or observation.
