摘要
This paper discusses the impact of a concave linear arrangement of compact aperture horns on far field performance. The horns operate from 18 to 45 GHz and are used in a switching fashion for beam steering with a Luneburg lens. It is found that the linear arrangement leads to a significant variation of broadside directivity and phase center position as function of frequency. No impact on feed coupling is observed. Surprisingly the Luneburg lens's performance is not strongly affected.
