Abstract
Juvenile exposure to sexually explicit internet material (SEIM) is nearly ubiquitous, yet a nuanced understanding of what that exposure means, how it influences behavior, and how to minimize negative effects is lacking. This presentation will provide the current literature of children and SEIM, specific risk factors for problematic use and negative impact, and potential strategies for psychiatric intervention.
