In order to popularize the application of Steel Tube Confined Reinforced Concrete Column Steel Frame Joint. Based on the existing research results, designed two kinds of different shapes of steel square tube confined steel reinforced concrete column steel frame ring beam joint, used ABAQUS finite element software to establish the numerical analysis model of the node, analyzed the hysteretic behavior, stress distribution and failure mode of the joints. We also investigated outer diameter thickness ratio of steel tube, steel form, joint height, concrete strength and axial compression ratio affecting the seismic performance of the 5 parameters of the joint. The results show that the hysteresis curves of this kind of joint are full and the energy dissipation is good, the stress distribution and failure mode are in accordance with the requirements of "strong column, weak beam and stronger joint" in seismic design, it provides theoretical support for the design and research of this kind of joint in the future.
