摘要
Introduction: While a plethora of outcome measure's (OM's) are available to assess the progress of midportion Achilles tendinopathy (AT) it is often the case that the measures used in research are not available to clinicians. Clinicians need to be able to choose OM's that are valid and reliable to ensure they are getting an accurate representation of the changes occurring with rehabilitation. The objectives of this review are: (1) To conduct a review identifying OM's that have assessed pain and function, muscle, tendon and mechanisms driving pain in trials investigating loading protocols for mid-portion AT and, (2) Propose measures that are valid, reliable and accessible to clinicians.
