摘要

•A linear d,l-octapeptide-poly(ethylene glycol) conjugate was designed as drug carrier.•The PEGylated d,l octapeptide self-assembles in core-shell NPs with rod-like morphology.•The PEGylated d,l octapeptide NPs show high loading of curcumin.•A sustained drug release of curcumin is obtained from PEGylated d,l octapeptide NPs.
