摘要

•Composite nanofibers (NFs) and their photocatalytic removal of dairy effluent is introduced.•TiO2-GeO2 and TiO2-CdO NFs showed a maximum removal rate of 65% and 75% respectively.•TiO2-GeO2 and TiO2-CdO composite NFs showed a 150 ml/min and 130 ml/min of hydrogen release in methanol and 75 ml/min and 65 ml/min in inorganic scavengers, respectively.
