Sparse frequency waveform design with low autocorrelation sidelobes

摘要
Sparse frequency waveform is widely used in wideband systems to suppress narrowband interferences or avoid the reserved frequency bands. However, it suffers high autocorrelation sidelobes. In this paper, we consider the problem of designing sparse frequency waveform with low autocorrelation sidelobes and then propose an efficient algorithm which is deduced based on the gradient algorithm. Since the gradient and step size of the algorithm can be implemented by the fast Fourier transform (FFT) operations, the proposed algorithm has high computational efficiency. To illustrate the superior performance of the proposed algorithm, several numerical experiments are performed.
