摘要
In this paper, two different approaches are investigated to reduce the torque ripple in Permanent Magnet assisted Synchronous Reluctance machines. First, we will demonstrate the effectiveness of closing slots in such topology. Then, we will show that it is possible to drastically reduce the torque ripple using stochastic optimization algorithm. The latter approach particularly makes sense for industrial fast-prototyping needs.
