Abstract
The time has improved research tools of Turner Syndrome, making them faster, accurate and sensitive. Fortunately, in Brazil we have excellent groups able to translate that mission, since the early days of cytogenetics and cell research to the present day. Besides the improvement of cytogenetic evaluation, with the increased number of cells investigated, the analysis by chromosome banding, allowing a better characterization of structural changes frequent in this syndrome, the introduction of molecular techniques for the assessment determines the risk for early and safe and the structure of multidisciplinary teams, allowed the early diagnosis of Turner Syndrome, followed by a long-term monitoring, which results in decreasing the morbidity associated with the syndrome and in improving the quality and life expectancy of these patients.
