Fracture prediction using the HTI anisotropic theory plays a significant role in identifying reservoir characteristics. In this paper, an approach of anisotropic elastic parameters inversion is proposed based on Rüger equation, by which both fracture characteristics (fracture density and orientation) and anisotropic elastic parameters (Z, G, Vp, ε(V), δ(V) and γ) can be obtained. Synthetic wide azimuth data shows that the inversion results match well with real model, which proves the effectiveness of this technique.
