Based on viscoelastic anisotropic first-order velocity-stress wave equations, micro-seismic wave fields, records and illumination maps were acquired by the rotated staggered grid finite-difference forward method. With seismic moment tensor decomposition, the force source was turn into velocity source and then loaded on the rotated staggered grids for ISO, DC and CLVD three kinds of basis sources at the first time in this paper. Then micro-seismic wave field and illumination characteristics were analyzed and results show that both focal mechanisms and medium types will affect the micro-seismic event radiation pattern and there are many differences among different cases, which could be used for focal mechanism or fracture parameters inversion. What's more, various prior information should be considered for the design of micro-seismic observation system based on main energy orientation analysis.
