Preparation and pharmacokinetic study of fenofibrate cubic liquid crystalline

Cubic liquid crystalline (LCC) has a unique “honeycomb” structure (the closed-lipid-bilayer structure composed of dual-consecutive water and lipid layers). Polarizing microscope, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), in vitro release and in vivo pharmacokinetics were measured to characterize the Fen-LCC. The LCC system significantly improves bioavailability levels.
