Comparitive Study Of Seismic Analysis Of Regular & Irregular Highrise Structures In Different Zones

: India is the most natural disaster prone country in the world. Many studies are carried out on the basis of design of structures to avoid the effect of earthquake. But to predict the severity of earthquake at any particular location is not possible. In this paper the effect of seismic analysis of regular and irregular type of  building in different zones of India are studied. As per IS 1893:2002 CODE the study and analysis of building is carried out. Various methods for seismic analysis are available as per IS CODES but in this study Response Spectrum Analysis is done. To carried out this analysis STAADPRO software is used for modeling and analysis. From the analysis and study the building under most vulnerable to earthquake under specific zone is found.
