3D and 4D ultrasonography of micrognathia

Prenatal diagnosis of facial deformations is very imjportant to prenatal consultation and managment after birth, because they are frequently associated with chromosomal aberrations and genetic syndromes. Although the advancement of 3D US have made prenatal diagnosis of micrognathism possible, the accurate therapy remains as a difficult task for clinical evaluation in daily practice.
