摘要

This paper proposes a new set of moments based on Bateman polynomial which is orthogonal in nature. The translation and scale invariant of Bateman moment has also derived using the linear combination of invariants of geometric moments. Bateman moment takes less order of moment to reconstruct an image. The results have shown that the proposed moment works better than Legendre moment.
