Abstract
•We carried out transplantations of epiphytes to forests undergoing restoration.•Transplants were more successful when performed in rainy season, using palm fiber.•We found no effects of phorophyte species on epiphytes’ performance.•Some epiphyte species responded to canopy cover.•Epiphyte species showed very distinct performances.
