摘要
Without proper and reliable forecasting, the ability to respond appropriately to space weather impacts will cause big lost to governments and satellite related services. In order to prepare for such impacts, Malaysia Space Agency (ANGKASA) has developed Malaysia Space Environment and Space Application Centre (MySES) to disseminate the information on space weather events using equipment installed in Langkawi National Observatory (LNO) and National Space Center (PAN) in Banting. This paper presents the case study of an analysis using data in LNO and PAN. The instruments used are 20" solar telescope in LNO for sunspot monitoring, magnetometer named (MAGDAS) and GPS receiver (GISTM) located in LNO and radio telescope (CALLISTO) located in Banting. We choose 9 March 2016 as a case study to analyze the sunspot count, geomagnetic data, radio burst data, and total electron count.
