A Study on an Efficient Deterrent Method for the Malware Network Using Social Networks Analysis

According to KrCert, the number of websites in Korea that were found to be hiding malware keeps increasing every year; as of 2015, more than 4,000 websites monthly were found to transmit malware. In reality, however, it is not easy to take action against all of the numerous malicious websites transmitting malware. Therefore, in order to block the ever-changing malware network effectively, this study suggested evaluating the influence of the sites within many malware networks through the social network analyzing technique and, on such basis, blocking the route of malware transmission effectively.
