Abstract
The article deals with the output regulation of an exothermic tubular reactor with an immersed cooling coil. Based on the feasible operating condition and the model reduction algorithm, the finite difference-based nonlinear model with nonlinear and single manipulated input can be addressed. Combination of an extended feedback linearization algorithm through the Successive Lyapunov functions, the developed dynamic feedback controller can ensure the input/output stability as well as the asymptotic output regulation.
