Abstract
This work describes the formation of Ag nanoparticle arrays on unheated surface of the amorphous carbon by a sequential evaporation of several portions by increasing or decreasing their weight. The paper shows the substantial dependence of the particle size and density of their location on the surface on the amount of evaporated Ag. The sequential evaporation of several portions with increasing silver mass observed character of unimodal particle size distribution in the array, and for reducing the weight portions - bimodal. In this paper we appreciated the role of exposure to hot steam on the process of fusion / consolidation formed and has already formed an array of nanoparticles.
