Abstract
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in patients who have undergone Whipple surgery (pancreaticoduodenectomy) is considered technically challenging. Identification of the pancreatico-jejunal (PJ) anastomosis and cannulation of the pancreatic duct (PD) have very low success rates even when performed by skilled endoscopists.
