Su1300 Cost-Effectiveness of Fully Covered Self-Expanding Metal Stents, Lumen-Apposing Fully Covered Self-Expanding Metal Stents and Plastic Stents for Endoscopic Drainage of Pancreatic Walled-Off Necrosis in a Large Multicenter United States Study

Endoscopic transmural drainage of pancreatic walled-off necrosis (WON) with the novel lumen-apposing fully covered self-expanding metal stent (LAMS) is a promising alternative to standard therapy with double pigtail plastic stents (DPS) or fully covered self-expanding metal stents (FCSEMS). However, data comparing the cost effectiveness of the 3 types of stents are lacking.
