Endoscopic ultrasound guided transmural drainage using double pigtail plastic stents (DPS) is effective for the management of postoperative peripancreatic fluid collections (POFCs) after partial pancreatic resection. However, placing DPS is often time-consuming, and several additional procedures with stent revisions may be required.
