Ponte - Apr 2017 - Volume 73 - Issue 4 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2017.4.22 Abstract:Family organization throughout history has been a direct reference point in the development of personality, mainly in children and teenagers; this fundamental element in the lives of human beings has been perturbed now more than ever by the growing outrage that has caused family crisis in this vulnerable group. The present investigation has the primordial objective of determining the impact of family functionality in the assertive conduct of teenagers. The experimentation was applied to ninth grade elementary students. The results showed that it is necessary to establish complete family functionality to conserve the assertivity in the student. This work generated conclusions and future works that allow to widen even more the investigation about the conduct of teenage students.
