Very Long-Term Outcomes of Combined Heart-Lung Transplantation: A Single-Center 26-Year Experience and Current Strategies for Follow-Up

Heart-lung transplantation (HLT) is the only definitive therapy for a select patient population and ~25% survive beyond 15 years; thus, long-term management of survivors is challenging. The goal of this study is to report a 26-year experience with HLT and provide an approach to care of long-term survivors of HLT.
