•The partitioning and recovery of antioxidants from wheat chaff in ATPS was investigated.•Phenolic and sugar compounds preferentially partitioned into ethanol- and salt-rich phase, respectively.•US-ATPS enabled integration of extraction and separation of antioxidants from wheat chaff.
