摘要
This letter demonstrates that double-phase-to-ground short circuits involving fault resistance can result in higher phase currents than bolted faults. Transmission systems are used for demonstration. Fault resistance values, which cause unexpected fault current increase, are determined in terms of Thevenin sequence impedances at the fault point.
