Abstract
Nonlinear frameworks organized in tandem are rationally designed by Hyesung Cho and co-workers in article 1605078 to address the conformal contact issue, especially upon a highly curvilinear topography. The wetting behavior of the presented layers is not only self-conformal against complex obstacles, but also reversible to be repeatedly addressed without mechanical failure. This framework helps to overcome the intrinsic limitation in wetting of rigid solid systems, which will be useful for future wearable devices and tissue engineering, which require conformal interplay with target surfaces.
