Abstract
Background: Various devices are available for TAVI; their use depends on individual anatomical conditions. In patients with severe calcification of the left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) and/or the annulus, we mainly used the Boston Scientific Lotus valve providing a low paravalvular leak (PVL) rate. This study reports the outcome of a highly selected and sophisticated TAVI population.
