A wideband circularly polarized antenna for GNSS

This paper is mainly to explore a wideband circularly polarized antenna, and the frequency bandwidth for the broadband global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) antenna from 1.2GHz to 1.6GHz. The antenna design is about a dual-polarized magneto-electric dipole antenna, and a power divider with phase shifter was mounted under the box-shaped reflector. The antenna structure is excited by two T-shaped orthogonal feeds in the middle of the antenna. The 10-dB return loss bandwidth from 1 to 1.7GHz. The gain at 1.2 to 1.6GHz is about 8.1dBi to 9.2dBi. The 3 dB AR (axial-ratio bandwidth from 1.2 to 1.6GHz for GNSS.
