Abstract
The transformer is subjected to the outlet and near area short circuit impact or the transportation in the collision, the winding may appear the distortion. After the winding deformation, the transformer winding may be local insulation failure, in the operation of the formation of partial discharge, under the action of lightning and other over-voltage, induced short circuit faults in the insulation weak point; it may also lead to the transformer's anti-short circuit ability to decline, when the transformer again suffered short circuit due to short circuit capacity and damage. Therefore, the degree of harm of winding deformation is self-evident. However, the detection effect of transformer winding deformation is in general, many deformation defects are recognized in the event of the hanging cover inspection of the transformer, so how to detect the winding deformation is very significant. This paper will introduce the main methods of winding deformation detection, their advantages and disadvantages, and provides a typical case for engineering and technical personnel reference.
