摘要
The novel insecticides and biopesticides were sprayed three times at an interval of 15 days, The first spray was done after 50 days of sowing the crop, when the pest crossed the economic threshold level. All the treatments were found to be statistically superior over the control. The treatment with flubendiamide 480 SC @ 0.5 lit/ha and emamectin benzoale 5 SG resulted lowest shoot and fruit damage of 1.6% and 3.3%, respectively. The aforesaid treatments gave maximum marketable fruit yield (93.26 q/ha), maximum increase in yield over control (38.23 q/ha) and also proved profitable with the maximum cost benefit ratio of 1: 9.9. The next best ones in order were emamectin benzoate 5 SG, indoxacarb 14.5 SC, carbosulfan 25 EC, bifenthrin 10 EC, quinalphos 25 EC, azadirachtin 1500 ppm and Bacillus thuringiensis with yields of 89.26, 86.79, 83.73, 80.96, 78.86, 73.50 and 69.30 kg/ha, respectively.
