Abstract
This paper proposes a hierarchical optimal scheduling strategy based on model predictive control method to overcome the active power scheduling problem of controllable resources in the AC / DC distribution network. In upper layer, considering constraints of voltage source converter (VSC) and regional exchange power, an objective function with power loss is established to realize the coordinative optimization of inter-area power. In lower layer, based on the result of the regional exchange power which is obtained from the upper layer's optimization, controllable resources' prediction models are established considering error of load forecasting and volatility of renewable energy. The precise scheduling of controllable resources in the AC / DC distribution network is realized by the means of model predictive control method. Finally, simulation results have demonstrated the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed strategy.
