Design of millimeter wave near-field focused array antenna

Abstract
A millimeter wave near-field focused array antenna working at 35GHz is presented in this paper. Its radiant power is focused at a near-field point with the focal spot which is about 15mm wide and 150mm deep. The theoretical focal distance is designed to be 500mm, and the measured maximum field intensity occurs at 460mm away from the array plane. Numerical simulations and experimental measurements have been given.
