Bone health and adherence to vitamin D and calcium therapy in early breast cancer patients on endocrine therapy with aromatase inhibitors

•Lack of oncologists' adherence to the guidelines on bone health was observed.•In significant proportion of patients initial densitometry wasn't performed.•Vitamin D and calcium were prescribed by oncologist to only 75.1% of patients.•Significant proportion of patients do not adhere to the vitamin D and calcium.
