Abstract
•A novel method for the synthesis of chiral P-stereogenic triaryl phosphine oxides is developed.•It is a Pd-catalyzed asymmetric C–P coupling via kinetic resolution.•High conversion rate and moderate to high enantioselectivity are observed.•A wide range of aryl iodides are found to work well under the catalytic system.
