摘要
To investigate the relationship of cognitive function and associated factors among the elderly in North China. The Chinese Version of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA-China) was applied to evaluate the cognitive function of elder people (60 years and older). The demographic information and lifestyle questionnaire were collected. The analysis was performed to evaluate associated factors with cognitive impairment. 425 subjects had effective data were studied, 211 male (67.20±5.60 years old), 214 female (67.77±4.09 years old). The score of MoCA in female was higher than males (p<0.05). The higher education of subjects will take the higher score of MoCA (p<0.05). The elders take exercise for 1-3 hours had better cognitive status than < 1 hour and >3 hours who take exercise (p<0.05). The longer reading for elders would have better cognitive status (p<0.05). The cognitive status of elders who sleeping time in 5-7 hours was better than <5 hours and >7 hours sleeping time (p<0.05). The factors including gender, age, education, reading time, sleeping time and taking exercise time were added to the multivariate regression analysis in which education, reading time and taking exercise time entered the model ultimately (β=0.347, β=0.100, β=0.098). High education, longer reading time and taking exercise time may be protective factors for cognitive function.
