Can Surgical Innovation Decrease Operative Time, Surgeon Variability and Surgical Morbidity in AIS Surgery? A Study of Operative Efficiency
The Spine Journal(2016)
摘要
BACKGROUND CONTEXT: Operative time associated with AIS surgery impacts blood loss, infection rates, and cost. The purpose of this study was to identify the relative portion of time spent in performing various segments of the operation for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) and to evaluate surgeon variability and change in operative efficiency after alterations in surgical technique.
