Abstract
An air cooled, Ku-band, permanent magnet focused klystron has been developed, built and tested at Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IECAS) for laboratory applications. This klystron is capable of more than 100kW pulsed wave output power with 300MHz of instantaneous bandwidth. An overview of the design, manufacture and test results for this klystron will be presented in this abstract.
