Abstract

Vitamin D is known to have immuno-modulatory properties in autoimmunity and transplantation. Few previous retrospective studies in pediatric and adult hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) have shown variable association of pre-transplant vitamin D levels with survival outcomes and graft versus host disease (GvHD).
