摘要
Sessile serrated adenomas (SSA) are increasingly identified during colonoscopy. Many SSA cannot be removed by standard snare resection techniques and constitute a significant proportion of defiant polyp (DP) referrals. SSA have been associated with higher rates of incomplete resection. We aim to assess complete resection rates, pre-resection biopsy histology accuracy, determine whether presence of neoplasia at the resection margin affects rate of residual adenoma, and whether the polyp histology affects the rate of complete resection after en bloc resection of a DP.
