To correct the wavelet distortion, we developed a novel window-based filtering scheme under the assumption that the reflection sequences in selected window are sparse. Based on the Fourier scaling theorem and the constant-scale generalized S-transform (CSGST), the filters were constructed directly by calculating the desired and distorted amplitude spectrum from local PS data in window of the CSGST, without wavelet estimation and zero phase processing. This new window-based filtering scheme can correct wavelet distortion without wavelet estimation. Synthetic example demonstrates the validity of the proposed algorithm.
