A decadal-scale nutrient loading study in a coastal wetland: Impacts on soil microbial processes

•A decade of N loading to a coastal marsh did not increase soil N.•P loading did significantly increase the soil total P.•Potential denitrification and N mineralization was not changed vs the control.•Excess N loading was removed from the system eventually through denitrification.
