Abstract
The results of an experimental study of the interaction of water with a simulator of corium, containing uranium products are presented. This study was conducted with water delivered to the melt surface. Data on heat transfer characteristics, the release of gases and aerosol, and the structure of solidified corium was obtained for the case of water boiling on the melt surface.
