Adaptive rate scheduling for ITLinQ under fast fading in D2D networks
2016 Eighth International Conference on Ubiquitous and Future Networks (ICUFN)(2016)
Abstract
Distributed link scheduling for D2D networks under fast fading channel is studied. The distributed Information-theoretic link scheduling (ITLinQ) for D2D communication is degraded under fast fading because of outdated channel state information (CSI). We propose to apply scheduling back-off adaptively to channel dynamics, so that higher outage sum rate is achieved. Simulation results suggest that the application of back-off is crucial for the system performance.
