Abstract
Distributed link scheduling for D2D networks under fast fading channel is studied. The distributed Information-theoretic link scheduling (ITLinQ) for D2D communication is degraded under fast fading because of outdated channel state information (CSI). We propose to apply scheduling back-off adaptively to channel dynamics, so that higher outage sum rate is achieved. Simulation results suggest that the application of back-off is crucial for the system performance.
