Abstract
Spatial coupling of ferroelectric domain walls and crystallographic defects in PbTiO3 films is directly visualized via aberration-corrected scanning transmission election microscopy (STEM) by Xiu-Liang Ma and co-workers in article 1600342. This is a schematic illustration based on atomic-scale STEM mapping showing the atomic configurations of the formation of positively charged 90° domain wall as a result of spatial coupling between domain walls and dislocations.
