摘要
•Ethanol extract of Lactobacillus paracasei subsp. paracasei NTU 101 fermentation products was investigated.•The extract reversed oxygen-glucose deprivation and reperfusion-induced cell death.•Glyceryl 1,3-dipalmitate was shown to be the major neuroprotective compound.•Glyceryl 1,3-dipalmitate modulated the expression of iNOS, NF-κB, and Bax.
