Investigation Of A Prototype Electromagnetic Calorimeter Based On Silicon Detectors And Tungsten Converters

A prototype of an electromagnetic calorimeter is designed using a tungsten converter and silicon detectors as the recording elements. Measurements of the static characteristics of an experimental batch of Russian silicon detectors are presented. The energy resolution of the calorimeter with a beam of electrons with a momentum of 26 Ge V/c is 17%, which is in good agreement with published data.
