摘要
Ambient carbonation of mining residues monitored in laboratory conditions.Carbonate nucleation of non-carbonated ores is a limiting step.Ores seeded with carbonates exhibited faster reactivity.Flakes of a meta-stable porous hydrated carbonates form in early carbonation.Flakes are then replaced by denser layers of elongated nesquehonite crystals.
